WHAT IT'S ABOUT

Clear ideas. Concrete application.

For teams that create or review messages: compare dated pieces and rephrase a communication for a specific audience. The course works with materials from 1980, 2000 and 2026 as situated evidence, not as portraits of entire generations or eras, to observe context, voices, channel, tone/humor, disagreement and possible impact.

For whom

Adults from teams, administrations, the educational community, associations and other entities. The contracting party may be different from the participant.

What you will learn

  • Distinguish in dated materials context, evidence, interpretation and possible impact.
  • Compare roles, voices, channels, humor and disagreement without stereotyping periods or generations.
  • Reformulate a message for a specific audience and justify the decisions about language, approach and channel.
  • Prepare a verifiable comparative sheet limited to three materials from 1980, 2000 and 2026.
TOPIC BY TOPIC

The syllabus, no mystery.

Each module combines concepts, a practice and a question to build your own criterion.

  • 1980, 2000 and 2026 as observation windows, not homogeneous generations
  • Date, origin, authorship, provenance, audience, channel, and intent
  • Separation between evidence, interpretation and judgment
  • Each piece as situated and non-representative evidence
We put it into practice.

Complete a common template with three brief previously verified materials, identifying provenance data, who communicates, for whom and with what intent.

A question to ponderWhat really changes between two messages when we stop attributing everything to the era or the age of those speaking?

Your result: Section 1 of the template: origin and reading sheet that distinguishes observable data, interpretations, pending questions and limits of representativeness.

YOU LEAVE WITH SOMETHING DONE

Your final project.

Individual or team comparative template of three previously verified materials, one situated in 1980, 2000 and 2026. It integrates the evidence from the modules: origin, context, authorship, audience, channel, intention, roles, voices, humor or disagreement, possible impact and justified reformulation. The conclusion is limited to the compared materials and makes explicit its limits; if group-based, it includes traceable distribution and an individual justification of 150–200 words. The cutoff year will be updated in each edition.

This is how we work.

How we review what has been learned

Case analysis oral or written (30%), comparative template and justification (50%) and brief self-assessment oral or written (20%). Precision, traceability of sources, limits of inference and justification of decisions are valued; ideological affinity or personal disclosure is not scored.

Four 3-hour sessions, in-person, live virtual or . Practice and assessment are included; breaks are organized separately. Modality and materials are agreed with the interested organization.
